*In my experience Berlin wasn’t the rudest city I’ve been to, I’d say Paris would’ve been worse except I speak un peu de francais. In Berlin even though I was with a native German, people were still a little cold, not unhelpful just very curt and direct. And I was told, whatever I do, don’t even attempt to make a Hitler joke.
